A nice lineup of 3 galaxies, and at least a half dozen small to tiny faint ones.  All  about the same distance (100-130 million light years) away. The center elliptical (S3 class) galaxy is thought to be the result of a merger of two spiral galaxies. The outside galaxies are both barred spirals, (like our Milky Way), with the right hand NGC5985 about twice the size of the M.W.  The left side, edge on, NGC5981 is almost as big. These three are close enough and large enough to be useful study objects for astronomers, but they have to use big scopes and the right equipment. A Goggle search will find many references to them.

Although very nice (better than mine) amateur photo's exist of the "Draco Triplet", I was quite pleased to get these very faint objects as well as I did, with just modest equipment, and from my semi urban, light polluted back yard.
