M6 an Open Cluster known popularly as the Butterfly Cluster, - this image cropped and downsized from the original photo

I don't see it but some see a butterfly outlined by the brighter stars of this open cluster. It's located low in the sky in the heart of the summer Milky Way. The clusters has about 80 members, the core of which can be seen here and in the full frame view. The cluster is relatively close at about 1500 years away. Most of the stars were born about 100 million years ago, and by now they've spread out over about 25 light years.
