Jupiter & moons |
The 4 largest moons of Jupiter are visible with a good pair of binoculars. In the course of an evening you can see their positions change. With a telescope you can see the closest one (Io) cross in front of Jupiter and see it’s shadow on the great planet. Jupiter is very bright compared to it's moons. I have to set the exposure fairly long to see the moons, but then Jupiter is overexposed. |
