Mercury

As a Greek God Mercury is considered to be FAST. This planet is aptly named, because it is only visible with the unaided eye for maybe a week during its highest appearance in the sky before it quickly disappears again into the brightness of the twilight or predawn. This particular evening the sky was unusually clear right down to the horizon, - very unusual for this part of the country - and I got a series of pictures of its decent. If you look closely, it was bright enough to show through the bush at the lower right.
